We are delighted to be able to offer for the first time 5 Graduate Management Trainee positions to Emirati Nationals. This Program is accepting applications now for entry in mid-2011. The Program offers a full salary while you undergo management training and exposure in the workplace while you work under leadership and mentors on real life projects, problems and opportunities.

After a comprehensive and very competitive assessment exercise, you will participate in an 18 month Program with six months in each of our Automotive, Retail and Property Divisions. You will work within your academic discipline to reinforce your theoretical training but also work outside your academic discipline to ensure you finish the Program with a well rounded, comprehensive understanding of the role of junior management in a large business.

In addition to the direct experience of working in our businesses, you will also participate in a formal leadership and management development program conducted by the Al-Futtaim Training Centre to enhance your skills and knowledge. This will be a serious Program that will be assessed regularly and you will need to pass each stage of assessment to remain in the Program. The good news is that every Graduate who completes the Program will be guaranteed a job offer for a regular management role in our business.

Requirements

To be seriously considered for entry to this Program, you must be a National of the United Arab Emirates and either hold a Khulasat AL Qaid or be eligible to hold a Khulasat AL Qaid.

We are offering this golden opportunity to people who are about to graduate from their university course in the next few months or have graduated in the last 18 months. You might be studying or hold qualifications in any of Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or other disciplines. Alternatively, you might be keen to change from your current stream to move into business with us. We welcome applications from Emiratis with foreign qualifications just as much as those who have studied in the UAE.

You will need to have good grades in your study and be prepared to work hard, learning from those around you and applying what you learn. We welcome applications from women as well as men and plan to hire equal numbers of each. Our global business language is English so you must have a good standard of English language fluency as well as good reading and writing skills. We need confident, cheerful, hard working team players.
