The Emiratisation Engagement Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing the Bank's overarching UAE National employee engagement strategy by leveraging data to provide key insights and interventions, working with both the business and HR Business Partners to deliver on this strategy for the Bank.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Create a Strategic People Agenda to improve the development, engagement and retention of UAE National employees within the Bank.
* Leveraging metrics and data from multiple data sources in order to help design the agenda and create business cases.
* Support the Head of Emiratisation Initiatives in delivering on the outputs from the Emiratisation Steering Group.
* Conduct on-boarding interviews at intervals for all UAE National joiners providing feedback as required to ensure a seamless transition and a rewarding onboarding experience.
* Assess the engagement of existing UAE Nationals through surveys, interviews and provide feedback to the Business and HRBPs on findings.
* Partner with HR Business Partners to ensure all UAE Nationals have clear job descriptions and job objectives.
* Partner with HR Business Partners to ensure all UAE National employees have robust development plans in place, with specific focus on promoting the case for fast-tracking 'high potential' employees.
* In collaboration with the HR Business Partners conduct career counseling and engagement sessions with our UAE National employees.
* In collaboration with the Learning team review and analyse all available learning data to drive improvements.
* Identify UAE Nationals who have been in the same role for greater than 3 years and partner with the Business and HR Business Partners to identify root causes and agree on a plan to support their development and progression.
* Work with the Talent Acquisition team to identify suitable internal UAE National candidates for vacancies and help facilitate their progression within the Bank.
* Review and monitor absenteeism amongst UAE Nationals and partner with the Business and HR Business Partners to address any areas of concern.
* Conduct exit interviews for all UAE National leavers and provide thematic feedback and root causes and recommendations to the Business and HR Business Partners
* Partner with the Business and HR Business Partners to reduce the attrition of UAE Nationals across the Bank, specifically targeting attrition hotspots.
* Partner with the business and HR Business Partners to ensure the effective management of the Management Trainee population.
* Network with external market to identify best practices around the engagement of UAE Nationals and provide insight to the Bank
* Leverage all internal and external data sources to support the development, engagement and retention of UAE Nationals

Requirements

* Must have previous experience in an Engagement, Emiratisation or HR Business Partner role in the UAE.
* Ability to guide, counsel and coach individuals to understand the value of their responsibilities and deliver high performance.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to think creatively, laterally and strategically.
* Analytical and feels comfortable working with data from various sources.
* Strong influencing skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task within a fast pace environment
* Uses own judgment to effect results and has a commercial outlook.
* Adept at manipulating and reporting Excel.
* Excellent presentation skills and able to communicate with impact using PowerPoint.

Desirable Experience & Knowledge
* Experience in an international professional services, finance or banking environment.
* Proven experience in working in a complex matrix organization and comfortable working with a broad base of cultures.
