Employment: Full Time

This Role heads Personnel & Immigration Sections and provides professional-level administrative services and support to the bank in Coordination with Finance & Accounting on Human Resources issues; Contract Development and Administration. Support Management in the application and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures; ensure effective employee communication strategies; create innovative systems & policies for employee welfare

Key Responsibilities

To organise the activities of the Section to ensure efficient utilisation of available resources and that staff are motivated, developed to realise potential and make significant contributions.
Advisory role for various government related documentation
Formulate and continuously monitor applicability of personnel procedures and systems to address Company’s operational requirements and prevailing Labour Laws. Support management in the interpretation of Personnel Policies and Procedures.
Continuously monitor progress and priorities and make necessary adjustments to achieve effective planning. Provide consultancy support on Personnel, Administration.
Manage the job evaluation process and finalize job classification and salary grades for all existing and new positions.
To ensure that the personnel Administration, benefits, allowances, salary administration, time & attendance, employee relations, grievances and disciplinary actions are handled in accordance with approved Personnel Policy & Procedures.
Participate in the administration of annual performance appraisals and associated personnel actions.
Direct and supervise the activities of Immigration & Services . Correspond with Government Authorities and Foreign Embassies in clearance of the bank’s visa /documentation requirements.
Participate in and resolving employer-employee related disputes. Negotiate and resolve raised grievances with Labor Department officials and employees
Keep superior informed on Section’s activities and progress against plans to enable monitoring of Section’s overall activities.
Pro-active administration of Polices, e.g. Annual Leaves, Sick Leaves and all other types of Leaves, Annual Airfares, Airfare schedules, Attendance control, Holiday notification, etc.
Review and endorse monthly reports generated by the Section’s groups to eliminate discrepancies. Issue periodic report to the Head of HR

Requirements

Minimum a Graduate from a reputed Institution
Preferably with MBA or MA
Business experience in relevant context with demonstrated success in personnel administration, employee relations, compensation management, policies and procedures and high-level generic HR initiatives.
High-level of technical competence, managerial experience, including senior staff.
Well-developed organizational awareness, computer skills with excellent knowledge of software’s.
Able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and presentation skills.
Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Arabic is a preference
Graduate level education in HR with approx. 6 to 10 years experience in a senior multi-dimensional HR role.
