The Middle East is one of the last great frontiers for Energy Management as a practice. Energy consumption per capita is high and buildings are not uniformly optimised for utilities and energy use. All of this adds up to a near greenfield opportunity to use your energy management and commercial leadership to establish our new Energy Management business.

The primary objectives of the role are to set-up, develop and run the sustainable business for energy management, conservation and trading.

The individual will be responsible for:

* Establishing the EM&S practice in a solid manner as part of AF Technologies
* Consolidating and growing the business from an in-house initiatives in Dubai Festival City and Cairo Festival City
* Developing the business with external clients by analytical approaches, data collection, guidance, and implementation of methodologies

Requirements

* A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Science or related engineering technology
* A post graduate qualification business management is preferable
* Experienced in developing & implementing a business for a Energy Management and Sustainability(EM&S)practice
* A Minimum of five years experience in process automation or control systems industry (OR) experience in MEP/HVAC Industry with strong knowledge of Low Current (ELV) systems
* A thorough knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)
* Must have used IT /applications as an enabler for process automation
* Experience with Leadership of Energy and Environmental Design(LEED)Certification and Green Building techniques
* Conversant with Six Sigma
* Exposure to performance contract projects
