Job description / Role

Principle Accountabilities

Relevant Performance Measures

Initiate trades and discuss / present to the head of trading for clearance. Design / make market analysis, reports, and projections and trade flows, whether physical or paper including sourcing/supplying opportunities.

You will have to Negotiate, Execute and Implement all spot and term barrels and trading strategies in line with company's guide-lines and directions / support provided by the head of trading.

Exchange market information with extrnal traders and with the Internal trading team for prudent business decisions and complement each departments activities.

Participate in related major industry events and meet trading partners, in order to analyze and gain market conditions, build on existing / new relationships and exploit market and enhance business opportunities.

Ensure that all normal industry norms are exercised for the full optimization and to meet the set trading volumes and targets set by the business.

Effective and timely physical and paper positions taken against the market opportunities identified by you / company and to maximize profits and minimize losses.

Ability to enter and exit a trading position in a timely manner as per mandate.

Demonstrate good communication skills with full grip on market conditions and structure.

Requirements

Must have excellent English language skills (arabic would be helpful)

Proficient in; Word, Excel

Excellent knowledge of wide range of trading platforms

Previous trading experience handling “Middle Distillates”- Gas, oil & jet
