The RoleThe RoleFor an approximately 21 months project based contract (extendable) Implementation of IP network projects for customers under Etisalat Managed Services Solutions. Plan & Coordinate implementation tasks and interface with the project managers. Generates network configurations from Low Level Design for highly complex networks. Plans and executes highly complex Network Upgrade and Network Migration projects. Ensure conformity to the organizational process & procedures. Generates standard project documentation including detailed test plan for highly complex networks. Monitor fulfillment progress & ensure conformity to customer deadlines for project completion. Maintain customer network inventory and other network information databases. Perform second level support functions for network problems in accordance with the Incident/Problem management process. Provide on-call support functions. Escalate problems to vendors as required. Perform network configuration changes in response to client requests. Implement project management skills as required. Review network requirements and engineering concerns associated with customer requests such as, equipment configuration and operational impact. Generates standard project fulfillment documentation and maintain the Configuration management system. Develop reports as required. Certifications such as CCNP/CCSP/ CCIE /ITIL will be given preference. Advanced IP network implementation skills. |
RequirementsRequirementsB.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent skills developed through industry experience is required. At least 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Certifications such as CCNP/CCSP/ CCIE /ITIL will be given preference. Advanced IP network implementation skills. Applicants should also have teh following skills: WAN, MPLS, CCNP or CCDP or CCIE, ITIL, Telecom, IP, Network Design, Communication skills, UAE experience. |
