Job description / Role
Our client is the Oil and Gas Division of a long established and respected Middle East principal contractor. Due to continued growth, they now require an Engineering Coordinator with a strong MEP background to join their team in Qatar.
Responsibilities
- To provide Engineering Coordination support to the project team, to maintain regular and systematic contact with the Engineering Consultants.
- To attend weekly meetings and visit the consultants offices to ensure they are working to the agreed priority and maintaining agreed progress. To issue regular updated status reports to the Job Officers.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: Engineering Degree in either Mechanical / Electrical or Instrumentation. Knowledge in various process and process controls of oil & gas industries, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants and water hydraulics is preferred. Should have a good general engineering understanding of all disciplines. PE License is preferred not mandatory.
- At least 10 years in a Project Engineering role with 5 of those in the GCC. Must have a good understanding of all relevant Client Specifications in the Oil and Gas / Infrastructure Construction Industry.
