Job description / Role
A leading European construction company are currently working on the Doha Metro project in Qatar and are looking to recruit an Engineering design Manager. The role will be to manage the design process including all of the design works produced by the consultants on an elevated section of the Metro. The role will cover major earthworks, elevated structures, MEP, cut and cover tunnels, concrete segmental bridges, viaducts and highways.
Requirements
Candidates must have a degree and should have a strong background in managing infrastructure projects with a value in excess of 300 million euros. Candidates must have strong experience of segmental concrete bridges/viaducts/light rail construction with the use of overhead launching gantries. Candidates should be familiar with major earthworks, elevates structures, MEP systems on rail projects, and cut and cover tunnels.
