Job description / Role
- Managing the Technical/Engineering Department for Railways Project.
- Provide the planning and operation strategy for the Technical Department
- Maintain the high standards of Engineering and quality of work
- Set up and develop the global Technical Department expansion and recruitment plans
- Assist in the development of an integration plan for ground & operational staff for the Railways Project
- Assist Tender department for technical review & evaluation for tendering projects.
- Ensure that the standards are maintained and delivered in all areas as per defined manuals
- Managing and handling meetings
- Develop, implement and administer global risk management strategies(Railways)
- Develop, implement and administer contingency plans for each asset(Railways)
- Supervise, comment and approve all technical reports, specification, plans and other documents
- Respond to all reasonable instructions given and prepare financial and technical studies and reports as requested from time to time
- Assist with developing, implementing and updating technical policies and procedures
- Establish standard (global) specifications and liaise with central supply chain team as appropriate
