Job description / Role
We have an urgent vacancy currently available at a multi-national manufacturing and fabrication company in UAE. The client is looking to interview shortlisted candidates from the w/c 15th February.
This is an Engineering Manager position, heading up a department specializing in the design of Process Equipment packages. You will be working on projects for Oil & Gas upstream facilities, onshore and offshore. There is approximately 30 people reporting into this position, so you must be prepared to handle large numbers of multi-discipline engineers such as designers, draftsmen, document controllers etc.
You will be supporting the estimations, planning and project delivery teams to ensure that all work is completed as per the required deliverables and client specifications.
Requirements
- 10 to 15 years experience working on process equipment package designs
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Extensive Oil & Gas design engineering experience on static equipments
- Knowledge of design codes/standards for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, injection skids, process piping
- Must come from a background in manufacturing/fabrication companies NOT design consultants
- Hands-on experience with PV Elite, Nozzle Pro, AutoCAD, PDMS
