Engineering Manager - Road - Infrastructure

A successful candidate will be responsible for reporting to the Project Director and lead the Design Support Team. The Engineering Manager will be accountable for the management and coordination of all engineering design during the life of the programme.

Duties
- Lead the design support team in the management and coordination of all the engineering design for the programme across all phases of work in the design process
- Develop project engineering standards, policies, procedures and best practises
- Ensuring that Health, Safety, Environment and Security requirements are properly considered and included in all stages of the design process
- Manage the Design Consultant

Requirements

- Minimum of 20 years design and project management experience
- Must be degree qualified
- Knowledge of all engineering aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects
- 2+ years GCC experience
- Management of project site engineering department comprising of technical engineers and CAD Drafters on bridge and highway construction projects.
- Manage the preparation of technical submittals (method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, as-built drawings, etc.) for bridge and highway construction projects.
