The RoleThe RoleOverall responsibility for all engineering disciplines involved in the manufacture and servicing of heat exchangers and pressure vessels. The appointee, as part of the senior operating team, will often be called on to support the sales function with technical visits and presentations and therefore must be commercially aware and presentable. |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience of managing a busy engineering fabrication facility, ideally manufacturing heat exchangers and pressure vessels. Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of ASME VIII Div 1. boiler and pressure vessel codes and National board “R” stamping. Manage, direct and motivate a team of six direct and one hundred and twenty indirect reports in achieving and surpassing challenging and time critical production targets efficiently, effectively and safely while maintaining a strong customer care ethos. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining as well as further improving and implementing good working practices throughout the production process, in addition to vigilant cost control of materials and labour. |
