Engineering Manager

Job description / Role

New Opportunity for an Engineering Manager to work for a Control Systems company in the UAE.

Our client is a Middle Eastern provider of EPC services for Control, Instrumentation and Automation systems for the Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors.

Due to upcoming restructuring of their various business units, they now have a new vacancy for an Engineering Manager.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Control/Instrumentation).
- At least 12 years relevant Industry experience, including an early career in Design Engineering roles.
- Exposure to multi-discipline Engineering such as Mechanical and Civil is preferred.
- Must have been responsible for the detailed Engineering of at least 3 sizable Automation Projects, or the Engineering of at least 3 sizeable EPC contracts with significant Automation content. Sizeable is defined as a value of US$15-35 Million Dollars.
- Must have lead a team of engineers (Control, Instrumentation, Electrical and others) in the preparation of all engineering deliverables for at least 2 sizeable projects.
- Shortlisted candidates will have expert knowledge of PLC/DCS/ESD/F&G/SCADA.
- Must have solid communications skills and people management ability.
