Job description / Role
A number of our clients across the Middle East are currently recruiting for a number of Engineering Managers.
This role will generally involve taking responsibility the overall supervision of the engineering works, including but not limited to;
- Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Interfacing with internal departments.
- Maintaining regular contact with senior members.
- Monitoring design productivity and performance, investigate discrepancies, and implement measures to maintain or improve the schedule and budget.
- Providing recommendations to the Engineering discipline managers/ HODs and instituting measures for improvement by modification to project work procedures and work instructions.
- Preparing for and chairing in-house and client design engineering meetings as required by the project
- Initiating and responding to Client correspondence with regard to design engineering issues.
- Reporting to project and engineering management with regard to design engineering progress and performance, to highlight concerns, and to make recommendations and seek guidance for resolution.
- Providing bid assistance with regard to design execution strategy, discipline interface, and schedule.

Requirements
Our clients have indicated that they want to talk with Experience Engineering Managers that meet the following criteria;
- A minimum of 5 year experience working for a consultancy within an Engineering Management position.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant Oil and Gas experience.
- Degree in Engineering.
- Experience in design and engineering.
- Ability to manage a large team of engineers on large international projects.
- A good blend of Greenfield and Brownfield engineering experience is an advantage.
