Our Dubai location positions us in a still growing market at the hub of business in the northern hemisphere with a client base operating in more than 15 countries across the Middle East, Europe, the Sub Continent and Asia. Our offerings include every aspect of communications, advertising and marketing in traditional and new media formats.We are currently looking for an experienced English Copywriter to join our Creative Team in Dubai. Our key accounts include Lexus, Toyota, Honda, Hino, Automall, Hertz, Famco and TBA. The purpose of this role is to be conceptually-led and address all the agency's day-to-day writing requirements while adhering to the sensitivity of client deadlines. Your duties will include the following: *To understand briefs, generate unique concepts and to write long copies for various advertising mediums (press ads and radio spots, as well as brochures, point-of-sale materials, e-DMs and websites) *Develop a selected concept into copy form to produce powerful and persuasive advertising in various media in line with the clients' requirements *Proofread and ensure all text produced by the Agency is word perfect *Work to tight schedules *Edit and develop text for house magazines of the agency and its automotive clients *Review all the written copies for accuracy in grammar and spellings |
RequirementsRequirementsTo be considered for this role you should * Be able to work on through-the-line campaigns, demonstrating a strong command of the written word * Have 5 - 6 years of advertising experience (more is preferred), be comfortable with understanding briefs, and coming up with unique concepts for writing long copy for various advertising mediums * Be able to write for press ads and radio spots, as well as brochures, point-of-sale materials, e-DMs and websites * Ideally have the capability of creating both above-the-line concepts and below-the-line concepts that have strategic thought behind them * 360 degree thinker who recognizes that a big idea travels across any and all mediums, and is able to take the concept across them * Automotive experience is preferred but not essential Thinking outside the box is key, but also being able to conceive and write for everything from brand campaigns to promotions and corporate brochures would be required.
