Job description / Role
Global Business Network LLC which started operations in 2004 is an HR and Recruitment consultancy having its offices in Muscat, the Sultanate of Oman. Since then, it has been actively recruiting professionals across diverse sectors such as Oil & Gas, Banking & Finance, FMCG, Hotel & Hospitality, Education, and Manufacturing.
In 2005, GlobNet became an accredited recruitment partner for the Directorate General of Technological Education of the Ministry of Manpower which had 5 Colleges of Technology. GlobNet recruited the pioneering Staff for both Shinas and Ibri Colleges of Technology bringing the total number of the Colleges of Technology to 7.
We currently seek to recruit English Language Lecturers for the September 2014/2015 Academic year for ALL 7 Colleges of Technology namely:
1. Higher College of Technology, Muscat.
2. Salalah College of Technology, Salalah.
3. Al Musanna College of Technology, Musanna.
4. Nizwa College of technology, Nizwa.
5. Ibra College of Technology, Ibra.
6. Shinas College of Technology, Shinas.
7. Ibri College of Technology, Ibri.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in English Language, and
• TESOL, TEFL, EFL Diploma or Certificate
• MA or M.Ed in English Language, TESOL, TEFL or Applied Linguistics is a BIG PLUS
• A minimum of 3 years teaching experience at least at College level
• GCC experience is highly desirable
Work Specifications:
• Working days: 5 days a week (Sunday to Thursday)
• Working hours: 8 hours/per day
• Contact hours: 18 to 21 contact hours/week
