Nature Publishing Group (NPG) is a division of Macmillan Publishers Ltd, dedicated to serving the academic, professional scientific and medical communities.
Nature Arabic Edition has a vacancy for multiple English to Arabic Science Translators, in both freelance and full-time capacities.
This challenging position involves regularly translating scientific content from Nature into Arabic, to an exceptional degree of accuracy, as well as aiding with coining new scientific terms. The ideal candidate will have strong background in science, with a scientific university degree as well as a diploma or similar qualification in English to Arabic translation.
Requirements
Experience is absolutely essential for this role, and translators with published scientific translations will be given top priority. Nature is looking to build a pool of translators, and as such this role is suited to both full-timers and current professionals in the science and education fields.
