Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The primary responsibility of the Enrollment advisor is to recruits students by developing alumni networks; supporting recruiting techniques and materials; interviewing prospective students; initiating campaigns to induce students to attend the university.

Main responsibilities:
- Support the Enrollment Director in implementing tactical and enrollment plans for each academic year.
- In close consultation with the Enrollment Director, manage ongoing strategic communications with high school and independent counselors, including email, print, and other media.
- Assist in the development and delivery of on-campus and off campus events and outreach programs including and not limited to: visiting high schools; attending career fairs; visiting private and public institutions.
- Develops a profile of students attracted to the University by conducting research; interviewing applicants; designing questionnaires for current students; analyzing questionnaire results; conducting focus groups.
- Counsel prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities at the University; this includes processing paperwork; interviewing applicants; arranging and conducting campus tours; conducting follow-up activities such as letter writing and phone-calling campaigns.
- Prepare and maintain progress, conversion and related reports on a weekly basis.
- Build rapport and provide guidance for students interested in obtaining a degree.
- Consult with the academic and registrar offices to ensure an excellent student experience.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Reporting to: Director of Enrollment and University Relations

Requirements

- Minimum 2-3 years of customer service, recruitment or account management experience.
- Advanced computer literacy, spread sheets and database software tools.
- Must possess excellent communication skills including writing and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to stay organized and works in a fast paced environment.
- Bachelor in relevant job discipline is a must.

This position requires the ability to travel to diverse locations across the UAE. Some evening and weekend hours required, especially during the high season. Strong cross-cultural interpersonal and writing skills are necessary, including public speaking skills and the ability to present the University in a positive way to diverse populations. Ability to represent the admissions profession positively through a strong, student-centered ethic.
