The RoleThe RoleEnterprise Applications Team Leader Salary: AED28,000 plus benefits Our client a local Oil and Gas organisation is looking to recruit an Enterprise Applications Team Leader for their offices in Dubai. As an Enterprise Applications Team Leader you will be reporting into the IT Manager and your main responsibilities will include; guiding a team of IT professionals, supporting the organisation’s applications across all business functions, liaising with the business process owners to prioritise requirements and being able to schedule the workload across the Applications Team. You will work with the IT Infrastructure Team to drive cross functional activities including; scheduling of system outages and consenting and prioritising any modification of applications. In addition, you will be involved in the implementation of the ITIL v3 framework across the IT department. The applicant must be educated to a degree level in IT or in a related field and have a minimum of 5 years experience working within an IT environment and have had practical experience of application support and change management. The successful candidate must have knowledge of ITIL frameworks, have had project management experience and have an understanding of Oracle and SQL Server databases, .Net, Sharepoint and Business Intelligence solutions. In addition to this, the individual must have impeccable time management; have outstanding management and coaching skills, as well as being able to identify ways of improving various areas.
