Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) Business Analyst

Job description / Role

The main role of the Analyst is to provide intellectual reporting and analysis to drive performance and optimisation across the drainage asset portfolio. The team will be responsible for asset optimisation, developing operating thresholds, interventions for optimising drainage assets through robust on going analysis including root cause analysis, trending, deterioration, asset failure, work order, customer based data.

The analysts will support the EAMS and Planning teams in the development of an optimum integrated plan to meet cost, performance, risk targets within agreed timescales. To identify opportunities to outperform and drive continuous improvement.

The role of the analysts is crucial in establishing the correct methods of working, data requirements, and optimisation and providing fact based needs identification to enable robust investment prioritisation both in the short and longer term planning cycles.

Has a knowledge in system integration options with information systems such as GIS,CRMS,ERP and SCADA and in depth knowledge of Maximo 6.x system for any intervention and data management.

Requirements

- Degree in relevant subject
- Minimum of 7 years work experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of asset hierarchy, asset types and related asset attributes, for both above ground and below ground drainage assets desirable
- Knowledge of asset management standards and best practice (e.g. PAS55, ISO55000), and closely associated systems to Maximo EAMS (e.g. GIS, CRMS, ERP)
- Knowledge of Maximo system with regard to operation, system administration and training
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and in particular Microsoft Excel 2010
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Arabic and English preferred
