Job description / Role
Triage is currently searching for an Enterprise Architect for Security for our high profile client in Kuwait.
The Enterprise Architect - Security (EAS) will develop, maintain, and communicate the enterprise security architecture and standards that enable and support the implementation of our clients Information Technology strategy. The EAS will support the Chief Enterprise Architect in the development and implementation of a comprehensive vision and strategy such that core IT security becomes a fundamental enabler of secure, protected business within the group. The successful candidate will promote an environment of collaboration and teamwork, both within the IT organization and with the business.
The EAS is required to Identify and resolve all IT security issues in regard to architectural fit that have enterprise wide implications in collaboration with other Enterprise Architecture team members, including: systems environment (security services for applications, etc.), the corporate network and interconnects (firewalls, proxy servers, etc.), and the software environment (security software, utilities and middleware, etc.).
Develop the base security architecture and assist ISO in the development of the security strategy to achieve the strategic objectives of the business units. Develop and implement the security strategy/blueprint for the enterprise and establish policies and standards for secure solutions and security products.
Advise on matters relating the development of the corporate enterprise strategy encompassing both business and IT needs.
Support in the thought leadership of security architecture across the business application portfolio and act as a conduit to the other internal organizations and external suppliers.
Direct the evaluation and recommendation of appropriate security practices in support the business strategies and the projected future growth.
Direct the appropriate research into current and emerging security technology and security management trends to determine how these could add value to the businesses
Advise on all matters relating to computing and information technology strategies and contribute to the development of the corporate security strategy relating to IT security components
Support in the development and evolution of the Enterprise Architecture documentation and design; develop and enhance IT standards and policies; contribute to elements in support of the development of the EA strategy.
Requirements
The EAS will have the following experience:
Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Architecture including IT security systems design, development of migration and retirement strategies.
Experience in development, implementation and migration strategies to manage the business risk of transitions to new solutions.
Experience with methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman, CSAM or SEAM would be an advantage.
10+ years of IT architecture experience
Five or more years of implementation experience
Demonstrated experience supporting/leading architect teams
Experience in financial services sector is an asset
Strong business-oriented communications skills
Expert knowledge on enterprise architecture development, security architecture development, and technologies to manage the architectures and the ongoing evolution of our enterprise blueprint.
