Environment Executive

Job description / Role

We are currently looking for an Environment Executive who will be mainly responsible to handle Environmental issues/ compliance related to products sold in our region. Key Objectives and position responsibilities include:

- Manage product compliance related to local Environmental Law.

- Monitor developments and government rules/ legislations related to Environment and safety.

- Understand basic Environment Engineering and check the status of Samsung products.

- Visit local government offices and meet Environmental representatives regularly.

- Make sure Samsung products sold in the region comply with the local government environmental requirements.

- Check the new requirements time to time announced by local government regarding electronic products.

- Make contacts with government representatives to understand the requirements and approvals.

- Liaise with HQ CS Environment team to make required changes in product/packaging to avoid any legal issue.

- Make sure all the approvals are done in time from ESMA to avoid any impact/loss in product sale or damage of company image.

Requirements

Qualifications
Experience, Education and Qualifications

- At least 5+ years of experience in handling Environment issues/ Customer Service with a reputed company

- Graduate Engineer/ Diploma in Environmental Engineering

- Ability to perform and work under different conditions and a team player.

- Existing experience in GCC.

- Good networking with the local industry

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple partners

- Self starter being able to work under minimum supervision
