The Role


The Role


Our client is an international engineering consultancy that specialises in the delivery of large scale and complex infrastructure projects.

They currently require an experienced Project Manager to implement a long term environmental compliance and monitoring programme for a major project in Qatar to ensure compliance with Qatari environmental legislation and to minimise potential impacts to the environment of the ongoing construction works.

• A proven Project Manager with a strong background in environmental compliance, monitoring and legislation for major marine projects such as harbours, ports, jetties, quay walls
• Prepared to be hands on and site based actually sampling and analysing seawater samples
• Project Management knowledge and skills must also include: man-management, budget control, reporting, data management
• Previous experience working for engineering consultancies with significant client and governmental department liaison
• Degree qualification in a relevant Engineering/ Environmental discipline
• Chartered status
• UK/ International driving licence

The package
Our client will offer an excellent ex-pat package for this role which will include competitive basic salary, international medical, car, flights and accommodation. The position will be offered on a rolling 12 month contract basis so will be better suited to single or married status applicants.
