Job description / Role
• Produce a Construction Environmental Management Plan for each new project and set-up the relevant necessary Environmental guidelines and documentation with the Project management Team;
• Develop, communicate, and train the concerned teams with Environmental Risk Assessments linked to the construction activities, as well as Environmental Job Safety Analysis;
• Perform regular Site Environmental Inspections & relevant Reporting;
• Perform Environmental Internal Audits as part of the IMS certification;
• Attend External Certification Audits;
• Perform Environmental Aspects & Impacts Assessment as per Project requirements;
• Environmental Data collection for the timely reporting.
Requirements
• An Engineering Diploma in an Environmental field is required;
• You have a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in an Environmental field in GCC, particularly working on industrial projects;
• You are fluent in English and knowledge of another European language/ Arabic is a plus;
• You have specialist knowledge on Environmental Permits and approval process, Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP), Environmental Management procedures, and knowledge on applicable national and international environmental laws, regulations and standards.
• You have a sound knowledge on identification, assessment, monitoring and management of air emissions, water and wastewater collection, treatment and disposal, energy management etc.
