The RoleThe RoleA National Saudi company is in need of an Environmental Specialist with the objective of: • Facilitate implementation of basic Environmental program requirements within the HSE Management System and ensure practical, cost effective measures are in place. • Responsible for health, safety and environmental conditions and practices. Conducts safety and/or environmental audits and inspects facilities within geographic area of responsibility to ensure a compliance with environment regulatory laws. • Conduct orientations, visits work sites, and distributes literature to implement and promote environmental policies and procedures. • Coordinate with other sections and the business units to implement environment regulatory laws, facilitate the requirements. • Present information and respond to questions or concerns from employees, managers, clients and the general public |
RequirementsRequirementsUniversity qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Previous experience : 5 - 10 years in a related field. Specialist knowledge : Good knowledge of water and waste water treatments facilities, and in the implementation of basic Environmental program requirements and doing the environmental audits. Knowledge in environment regulatory laws in Saudi Arabia. Good knowledge of NSF procedures and EPA, WHO & PME waste water guidelines in order to compliance with the guidelines. Knowledge of MS Office Application, MS Project. Other Skills : Organized, dynamic, self-starting abilities and sound communication skills and strong analytical skills. Gender Preference : Male Nationality Preference: Saudi Only Language Skills : Good command of English and Arabic. |
