Environmental Stakeholder Engagement Manager

Job description / Role

Allen & York are currently looking to appoint an experienced environmental expert to perform the role of Stakeholder Engagement Manager for a large infrastructure project in Doha Qatar.
 
As key member of the project delivery team you will assume responsibility for working closely with the client, contractor, sub-consultants and the government authorities.  The project has the potential for a large impact upon the natural environment and therefore it is imperative that you will have a strong and varied background in mitigating the environmental impact by utilizing international best practice.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications Required:

Mc S or Ph Degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent Environmental Science degree.
Bilingual - completely fluent and with strong communication skills in both English and Arabic
At least 12 years relevant post graduate experience working on environmental projects.

As a key component of this role will be focused upon constant communications with government entities and key stakeholders, a track record in performing similar duties is a very strong preference. It is also judged that this role will be easier for a Male applicants to be successful in but applications from women with strong experience in this area are also welcome.
