The RoleThe RoleThe appointment is working with URS site supervision team on Boubyan Island, Kuwait for the construction of the Mubarak Al Kabeer port. The work includes quay wall construction, reclamation of the proposed port area and dredging activities. Construction has commenced and the post is for 22 months. The site supervision team of 19 number live and work on Boubyan Island, which is approximately 2.5 hours drive from Kuwait City. Accommodation and food is provided at the Contractors camp in addition to salary. Leave flights are provided every 4 months. The Environmental superintendent will have an assistant and will be responsible for supervising data collection and monitoring compliance with the Contractor's Construction and Environmental Management Plan. |
RequirementsRequirementsExperience: •Minimum 10 years experience in a related position •Min 3-5 years of relevant experience working in the Middle East region Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: •Fully qualified technician performing a variety of senior level tasks •Knowledgeable within all assigned areas •Thorough understanding of equipment and technology used to gather samples and information from the field •Ability to perform regular and often complex computations and calculations |
