Job description / Role
We are looking for an Environmental Supervisor, overseeing the environmental performance of our multi-billion dollar infrastructure project in Doha, Qatar.
You will develop, implement and monitor environmental strategies and policies that promote sustainable development.
Examine activities to establish where improvements can be made and ensure compliance with environmental legislation across our company.
Identify and resolve environmental problems and ensure staff are trained at all levels and that everyone recognises their own contributions to improve environmental performance.
Requirements
5 years minimum experience in the field of Environmental Management. Thorough knowledge of international environmental standards and procedures. Good written and oral communication skills. In-depth understanding of environmental management systems and procedures. Makes appropriate decisions based on knowledge systems and procedures.
Diploma or equivalent. Must have attended recognized environmental related training courses.
