Environmental Supervisor

Job description / Role

We are currently looking for an Environmental Supervisor for our multi-billion dollar infrastructure project in Doha.

Your duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:

•Make appropriate decisions based on knowledge.

•Conduct risk-based project environmental inspections and produce subsequent reports.

•Track identified project issues and brings corrective actions to appropriate closure.

•Assist the project prepare and implement ISO14001 standard environmental management system and associated processes.

•Review laboratory results; analyze data to identify and respond to trends

•Develop, implement, review and revise environmental procedures

•Verify appropriate management & storage of environmental data.

•Provide support and assistance in the preparation and review of the monthly & annual environment reports.

•Provide support and assistance in the environment meetings with Client representatives and consultants.

•Provide support and assistance in on-call site monitoring duties.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications


• Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Environmental Management. Western Educated, Environmental qualification - Diploma or equivalent in which can be waived with the right experience.

•Must have attended recognized environmental related training courses – NEBOSH, Lead ISO14001 auditor course

•Thorough knowledge of international environmental standards and procedures.

•Good written and oral communication, organizational & coordination skills.

•In-depth understanding of environmental management systems and procedures.

•Ability to work in a high-pace team environment.

•Ability to manage deadlines while responding to project site issues
