The RoleThe Role• Assessing the current economic and business environment and analyzing their effect on the capital markets. • Identifying and analyzing investment opportunities • Provide analysis of the direction of markets, the relative attractions of investments in different sectors, and the impact of economic influences on each industry, advising institutional investors on strategies to maximize profit and minimize risk in their portfolios • Develop medium to long term investment ideas and strategies which can be marketed to the clients • Be proactive to market-moving events and communicate expert views and opinions to the firm's clients and traders as they happen • To undertake and administer empirical (quantitative and qualitative) research and establish and monitor relevant data sets in order to improve the knowledge and understanding of the investment community |
RequirementsRequirementsCFA/MBA with at least 5 - 10 years of experience in equity research. Incumbent would be responsible for writing equity research reports, sector reports & undertake quantitative analysis. Should have detailed knowledge of all data collection methods, related research, econometric modeling, statistical analysis, valuation & related sector knowledge etc. |
