Ericsson 3G RAN (Operation and Maintenance Expert)

Job description / Role

- Handling daily activities and tasks
- Leading all the 3G RAN challenges and projects
- Planning the activities and ensuring the prerequisites for all operations
- Writing & Preparing technical procedures
- Transfering knowledge to the team
- Supporting the 3G RAN teams in the region
- Designing preparation for new projects and solutions related to 3G RAN
- Following all the 3G RAN projects
- Site survey and engineering
- Commissioning of RNC, NodeB
- Integration of RNC Interfaces IuCS, IuPS, Iur and Iub
- Integration of NodeB
- Upgrading (patch/Change delivery installation, SW and HW Release Upgrade ) for RNC and NodeB.
- Testing of Acceptance
- Technical support of Ericsson RNC, NodeB,etc. including Operation, configuration, maintenance and QoS monitoring
- Troubleshooting and resolution of problems
- Analysing traces and logs analysis Radio Uu, Iub, IuCS, IuPS and Iur
- Features activation and verification
- Treatment of Technical Queries, Fault Reports
- Emergencies Handling

Requirements

- Candidate must have deep technical expertise in the Ericsson 3G RAN operation and maintenance area and have worked on similar large scale modernization projects internationally for reputable Telco organizations.
- High skills in KPI assessment and signaling.
