The RoleThe RoleM.H Alshaya Co. has entered into a partnership with KidZania, the award winning family entertainment and education brand, to develop and manage a 5,000 sq.m. KidZania State at The Avenues in Kuwait. Expected to open in 2012, KidZania will be a major new tenant in phase three of the mall, which is currently under development.KidZania, or ‘The Land of Cool Kids', is a unique concept in family entertainment, helping children understand and manage the world they are growing into. Designed as a real city with streets, buildings and even an airport, everything in KidZania is scaled down to kid's size. Children can experience what it is like to become a doctor, a banker, a policeman, a DJ or one of over 90 other adult roles in a fun and safe environment that helps nurture their creativity, stimulate their imagination, and expand their experiences as they play and learn at the same time.KidZania was established in Mexico and first opened its doors to children in 1999. RequirementsRequirementsReporting into the Park Manager, the Establishment Manager is to operate and guarantee  a high guest satisfaction level  the concept of KidZania in terms of children's role playing in a safe environment for the role playing activities.* Direct the establishments operations (pavilions)* Elaborate the fortnightly Supervisor templates and Establishment's operations* Oversee establishment's maintenance in terms of 100% functionality, painting, elimination of risks for children, raw materials, etc.* Oversee the correct execution of the concept of role playing.* Elaborate purchase orders for establishments raw materials and required theming elements* Incidence control to deliver to Human Resources to the end of elaborating the administrative and operative area payroll (schedules, vacation, post changes, leaves, sick leaves, etc.)* Coordinate with the Trainers the subjects to be taught to new collaborators and guarantee, through evaluations, personnel development* Conduct weekly Supervisor and Coordinator meetings* Assist in the  weekly meetings with the  Operations Manager and Managers* Make sure the visitors are satisfied and, if needed, resolve any grievances* Review work orders weekly and deliver the completion report to the head office in a timely manner.* Oversee the security, safety and functionality for the various establishments. |
