Job description / Role

Able to give ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) for new building based on block diagram
Establish/ review the conceptual estimates and quantities; Pricing structures, codes of accounts
Prepare or review consultant or contractors cost estimates
Obtain/ Maintain Vendor information and cost data files
Prepare or review consultant's commercial valuation of tenders
Research and develop or review import duties and tax issues, foreign currency and exchange rates estimates
Management presentations and negotiation with contractors/ vendors
Prepare or supervise the preparation of cost studies utilizing historical data, statistical analysis and cost and quantity comparisons.
Interface coordination, audits and scope deviation identification
Develop estimates budgets and schedules, cash flow, working capital analysis
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree

Minimum 12 years of related works experience
Minimum of 6 years experience in estimating for buildings design and construction projects. In special cases less years of experience are acceptable in case the evidence of knowledge
Familiar with different international method of measurements such as CESMM3 for infrastructure and SMM7, NRM and Qatar's own method of measurement
