Estimation Engineer

Job description / Role

- Evaluating of all incoming tenders prior to take on estimation board
- Studying Drawings, BOQ's & Specifications issued with Tender
- Finding variations and updating systems in documents and highlighting the same to estimation team
- Carefully studying items ,equipment and architectural requirements for the project
- Separating of all the related specifications, BOQ and drawings for each & every individual systems and equipment's as a pre-requisite of Enquiries to the supplier/integrators
- Sending systems/equipment's enquiry to the market for competitive quotations
- Following up for the quotation from the suppliers
- Making Techno-commercial Comparisons for all major items/equipment's in order to take right cost during estimation
- Preparing Pre-qualifications for many clients and developers for various project
- Making Pre-qualification for the entire awarded projects such as scope verification and making presentations etc. for consultant/client approval

Requirements

Ideally you must have a degree or Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline along with 5 years experience in MEP company.

Technically, you must be able to read and analyze drawings, BOQs & specifications issued with Tender, you should be able to analyze different updating systems in documents and highlighting the same to estimation team and in addition to that you must be able to analyze major items and equipment's in details for project quick understanding along with architectural requirements.
