Estimation Manager

Job description / Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator / Estimating Manager to take control of the Estimating function of a major civil / build contractor in Doha.

Responsibilities:
- Control and supervision over Estimators and Quantity surveyors.
- Responsible for hiring, training and supervising Estimation Department staff.
- Provides professional guidance and support to other departments regarding estimated quantities and budgets for any work item.
- Report to the Commercial & Contracts Director for all aspects/issues for current tender and project at hand.
- Review and analyze tender scope of works including preliminary construction schedules in consultation with the Project management Office.
- Coordinate with Accounts Department for tender bonds and insurance requirements.
- Raise all tender queries / clarification to Clients / Consultants
- Prepare and maintain tender schedules

Requirements

The successful candidates will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar
- Minimum 15 years experience either in the GCC or abroad.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken)
- Strong management skills
- Very strong negotiation experience
