Job description / Role

Under the supervision of Contract Manager prepare proposals, bids, and contract modifications.
Take out quantities from drawings.
Prepare quotations, Bill of Quantities, and cost sheets from drawings.
Prepare and evaluate contract documents.
Advisory role to Design, Sales, and Contract Manager after in-depth study of tender documents, Bills of Quantities, specifications, and drawings.
Negotiate prices with subcontractors and suppliers.
Preliminary certification of interim and final Accounts for projects executed which has been quoted and handled by the estimator.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in interior and/or joinery estimation.
Carpenter/joinery and/or Interior Fit Out works knowledge.
Basic knowledge of types of materials and their unit rates.
Experience in cost and commercial management through the design, tender, and construction stages of multiple-discipline interior fit out projects is an advantage.
