Estimator – Interior & Fit-Out

Job description / Role

A reputed Interior Fit- out Specialist in State of Qatar is looking to recruit an Estimator with previous Interior Fit-out experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical specification, estimation, cost analysis and B O Q. The candidate should also be capable of compiling quantities / estimates on spreadsheets and have knowledge of site surveys, execution and methods.

• Interpreting and understanding tender information
• Assessing the project and organizing Sub Contract enquiries/ quotations
• Assembling costs/ rates and preparing net estimate for review by Senior Management
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
• Finalizing tender submission documents for clients
• Post-tender and post- contract analysis and review/ feedback when required
• Attending pre-award meetings and assisting in negotiations with clients
• Working with the Operations Manager to ensure estimates and tender intentions are effectively communicated
• Assisting the Operations Manager during the early stages of the project

Requirements

• Prior experience in interior fit out and joinery estimation is preferred
• Preference will be given to candidates with previous GCC experience
• Degree/ Diploma or any certificate course in civil engineering/ interior designing/ architecture
• Should have strong organization skills
• Candidate must be self-motivated
• A good team member
