Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a large aerospace company located in the United Arab Emirates. Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Evacuation Technician professional with a proven track record in Aircraft safety.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance of aircraft component, inspection/repair and trouble shouting component after testing, issue non conformance report, develop maintenance instruction, prepare shop ability and perform technician’s tasks as instructed by manager within his/her qualification scope and quality system requirements
- Must be familiar with one of the GCAA CAR /EASA / FAA CFR PART145 regulatory requirements. .
- Support the Quality Management System to meet the requirements of EN9110, Regulatory Part 145, and knowledgeable on certification requirements
- Work with front end sales administration and meet SPT requirements.
- Ensure and drive application of lean principals within the organization.
Knowledge of Evacuation Slide/RAFT doors

Requirements

Slide Shop (Evacuation Systems): Inflatable/Reservoir/ Packboards Inspection Testing Assembly and Overhaul / Modification
Hands on Experience and worked on Disassembly, Inspection, Testing and Performing folding and packaging of Slides and rafts
Knowledgeable of safety related to reservoirs and DOT specifications
Perform Testing and final check of the inflatable system
Perform inflatable checks related to Porosity, Leak test and Harness inspection
Review work order and maintenance instruction
Knowledge of Safety while testing the inflation system
Familiar with the use of packing fixtures, cooling and heating oven functions
Use and Operate the appropriate tools, equipment
Disassembly and Assembly Component like Aspirators and Packboards
Recording & claiming the work performed
Calibration and Preventive maintenance needs for key equipments
