Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Events Executive will report to the Events Manager, and be the second in charge for all event related operations matters. He/She will help in planning the calendar of events for the Sports Business Department and all it's venues. Main Account abilities for the role are:

• Lead Event Management processes & deliverables
• Develop timeline & execute Event operational plan in liaison with EM & Event Team
• Responsible for all logistic planning and co-ordination
• Traffic / Parking / Security / Gate
• Dubai Police / RTA / Civil Defense
• Accreditation
• Medical
• Transportation / Accommodation / Visas
• Daily Schedule
• Meet & greet / VIP Protocol
• Catering / Concession
• Facility Management
• Turf Management
• Cricket Operation
• Financial & accounting procedures & support EM on budget planning & control
• Liaise with Venues Executive to co-ordinate all venue related deliverables on timeline
• Manage all NOCs, permissions & permits
• Resource planning for all event staff and volunteers
• Provide monthly reports
• Liaise with Procurement & F&B operational

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a strong second in charge and will be groomed to take on a more senior role with time. He/She should have exposure to working on events from start-to-end, specifically in sport and entertainment. Commercial acumen is a must in this role, and the ability to take a systematic approach when dealing with Business Unit Heads, at all times.

The role requires someone with a flexible approach to working long hours, especially during the peak event season. Also, someone who can work autonomously when required.

A valid UAE driving license is a must. Preference will be given to applicants to can start immediately.
