A leading global law firm are urgently seeking an Events Executive to join their well-established Dubai-based marketing function. This is a great opportunity for a junior candidate who has had exposure to marketing and events in a corporate environment to join a growing marketing function and work on an extensive portfolio of events. The events executive will report into the Business Development and Marketing Manager and have responsibility for the planning, organising and co-ordination of all events across the firm.

The key responsibilities of this role are:
* Plan, organise and execute events ranging from small round-tables to large hospitality events
* Budgeting and financial planning for events
* Liaise with suppliers and venues in order to maintain a preferred suppliers list
* Work closely with the Business Development team in order to ensure that events are in line with business development strategy and ensure follow-up
* Ensure there is an effective and up-to-date record of all event activity on the firm's internal database
* Assist in the design/graphic support and production of event materials and marketing collateral, including banners, brochures and leaflets; in liaison with the marketing team and in line with the firms brand guidelines
* Manage the firms branded merchandise, through liaising with suppliers and working with the Business Development and Marketing team to consider new products; in addition to negotiating contracts and financial deals
* Pro-actively develop and improve event process and ensure implementation of best-practice

The successful candidate will have a proven track-record of planning, organising and managing events within a corporate B2B environment. They will possess good commercial awareness and the ability to negotiate with suppliers. They must be a creative individual, who is equally well-organised, self-motivated and able to work with a degree of autonomy. It is essential the individual works well under pressure and is able to communicate to a very high-level with both internal teams and partners, in addition to clients and suppliers. Strong English, both written and spoken is essential, with Arabic language skills preferable.
