The RoleThe RoleWorking for one of the Leading Members only clubs in Dubai your responsibilities will include: Assist and work together as part of a team with work colleagues, creating and maintaining a harmonious work environment. Develop, organise and implement events and activities for the Club. To develop a Club Events sales plan and administer with events / activities in and outside the Club. Attract quality guest speakers to the Club. Organise and manage the Clubs Event Committee. Work with other Committees in the Club to promote their events i.e. – Golf Society / F&B Committee. Promote quality Club event experience amongst the Members. Make contact via telephone with prospective Members. Obtain sales leads from Members. Conduct Club site inspections and tours. Set and attend appointments both at Club and off-site to secure commitments for sponsorships. Attend and actively participate in Management meetings with the Management Team. Responsible for control of events incomes and expenses. Reconciliation of monthly budget figures and forecasting for coming months with Financial Controller and General Manager. Manage the Clubs Website. Plan and manage the Clubs newsletter. Manage the Club notice boards with updated events. Plan and implement brochures / invites and materials for all events. Update Members on upcoming events and promotions via email / mail outs. Actively promote and organise all Members Events. Produce quarterly and yearly events calendar. Supervise and assist all events. All other necessary and incidental duties as determined by the Club Management from time to time. |
RequirementsRequirementsMinimum of 3 years experience in a similar position Must be able to demonstrate strong selling skills Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must possess strong administrative skills including attention to detail, timely project completion, record keeping, monthly reporting, thorough knowledge of computer systems and their uses to benefit the club, strong typing skills, time management and organizational skills. Possess strong leadership and motivational skills. A team player attitude is essential. Thorough knowledge of Club industry is preferred. |
