Job description / Role
Our client is a Dubai based events management organisation and as part of their growing success, we are recruiting an Events Manager to organise and manage all events from corporate and private events, exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and weddings.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with potential and existing clients to create unique and innovative themes and styles for corporate and public events, exhibitions, trade shows and conferences
- Prepare and manage events budgets
- Planning, organising and management of events
- Development of close partnerships and sponsorships
- Selection of vendors, suppliers and contractors and negotiating contractual and commercial terms
- Working closely with the Marketing department to create quality media productions for advertising and publicity campaigns
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 5 - 7 years experience in event management and operations with at least 2 - 3 years experience gained in the UAE
- UAE driving license
- Fluent in English
- Currently living in the UAE
- Experience of working in event management in the last 12 months
Candidate Profile
- Ability to work extended and out of office hours and weekends
- A valid UAE driving license and own a personal car
- Commercially astute
- Excellent communication skills including fluency in English
