The RoleThe RolePrimarily responsible for executing events allowing the Conference & Events and Weddings segments to reach and/or exceed the departmental revenue targets. Also in charge of converting Conference & Event leads for over 10 people and all other wedding leads. The role is based in Dubai and is customer facing, both within the Resort and visitation of local accounts. In charge of preparation of the event day, pre and post event activities Plan, coordinate and execute all aspects of the events logistics Conference Implementation Suppliers liaison Excellent creative skills to provide innovative set-ups, menus, and functions for groups Ability to generate creative and innovative menus while working closely with Chef on pricing specialty menus Work closely with banquet department on operations and event execution Evaluates alternatives and decide on a plan of action Provide overall direction, coordination, and ongoing evaluation of operations Detailed execution of all banquet event orders Experience providing Audio/Visual equipment and operating Audio/Visual as a profit center |
