The RoleThe RoleThe Events Officer will provide support to the planning and delivery of University events on and off campus, locally and internationally. Duties include but are not limited to: * Assists the Events Specialist in planning and organizing events, on and off campus, locally and internationally. * Coordinates with relevant staff and stakeholders to collect event requirements. * Coordinates with suppliers to obtain quotations for relevant event requirements and follow up on deliveries to ensure smooth operations. * Assists with processing invoice requisitions and following up on payments after events. * Coordinates with the Finance and Administration Department to ensure all requirements are booked and available such as audio visual equipment, venue and catering. * Personally checks event venues, set-ups and equipment and ensures everything is in order. * Ensures events are photographed and documented for publicity on the corporate website. * Maintains the events databases to document all event related information. * Provides support to the direct supervisor prepares reports as and when required. * Performs other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the direct supervisor. |
RequirementsRequirements* Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Marketing or related field. * Entry level position for a fresh UAE national graduate with zero or limited administrative experience preferably in an institution of higher education |
