The Role


A global exhibition organisation is looking to hire an experienced Events and Sales Manager who will be responsible for the overall organisation, coordination and management of conferences, events and sponsorships of the company.

As the Events and Sales Manager you will be responsible for identifying and liaising with Contractors, Exhibitors and venues as well as preparing exhibitor sales, production schedules and staging guides. You will be required to organise event marketing material including sponsorship, advertising and press releases and will be responsible for budgeting and the final reconciliation of financial results. You will also undertake other additional tasks that may be required for the success of a large scale exhibition.

To be considered for this role you should have three to five years experience in events or sales management, preferably with a technical society or similar professional organisation. You should have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiation and organisational skills with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong sales, leadership and outstanding administrative skills are also essential. The successful candidate may be required to travel extensively and frequently with limited notice. This role offers extensive variety, responsibility and challenges.
