SSA are recruiting on behalf of a leading International company who are putting a team together at FEED Stage for a major upstream Oil & Gas Development in Russia.
The roles will be based in Moscow and are not rotational positions.
Fluency in the Russian language is ESSENTIAL for this position and candidates who cannot demonstrate competency in the Russian language will not be proposed for the roles.

POSITION TITLE: Execution Planning Engineer
DESCRIPTION: Project Position

REPORTS TO: Project Engineer
Execution Planning Supervisor (Functional Home)
SUPERVISES: No supervisory responsibilities

MAIN FUNCTIONS
• Assigned to the Project Team, who is responsible for continuing the implementation of execution planning effort including maturing the migration of Front End Execution Planning activities into the Project Plans
• Coordinates advancement of the Define Stage, Gate and Checkpoint 1 deliverables including developing management plans for project issues and from various project assessments (e.g. IPR, risk assessments).
• Responsible for completing assigned Chartered Activity associated with FEEP
• Responsible for verifying the FEED contractor's execution planning and implementation programs are consistent with the FEEP objectives.
• Facilitates interfaces among the Project Team, EMDC Functions, and the FEED contractor's organization with respect to execution issues
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate, participate and where necessary lead or facilitate the FEEP transition workshop for Project Team
• Complete assigned FEEP chartered work activities and ensure mitigating results into Project Plans
• Responsible for upgrading, and where necessary develop, specific Define Stage, Checkpoint 1 and Gate deliverables: Organization Plan, Project Plan, Function Engagement Plan, Key and Project, WBS and Contracting Plan
• Interface with multiple disciplines and functions as required to provide input and ensuring that the deliverables are well integrated, sound and reflective of the objectives and strategies
• Coordinates the Project’s effort for the various milestone reviews including the Gate 3 Independent Project Review and Gate 3 endorsement reviews (e.g. Functional Managers, VPs, EVP and Gatekeeper reviews)
• Maintaining project register for issues resolution and other required actions
• Provide overall execution expertise during the FEED phase including advising the FEED contractor on execution and logistics planning
• Responsibilities in execution of general interest activities (e.g. execution planning enhancements, execution tools development, maintenance of selected work process, special studies)
• Expect to become a subject matter expert in one of more elements of EMCAPS
• Continue to diligently pursue completion of ECM program

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• BS in Engineering
• 1 - 3 years experience with EMDC
• 3 - 5 years prior oil and gas industry experience, preferably in planning or execution of capital projects

Fluency in the Russian language is ESSENTIAL for this position
