Job description / Role
A seasoned Executive Assistant is required to support an extremely busy CEO of a company in Dubai. This is a very varied role so would suit someone who can multi-task and is commercially minded. UAE experience is a must. The CEO is a dynamic entrepreneur who requires someone who can work at a fast pace, be pro-active, be 2 steps ahead and work to tight deadlines. Responsibilities include:
• Full support to the CEO including extensive and complex travel arrangements, diary management, meeting scheduling, expense reports, producing presentations and reports and some personal work. As the CEO is often traveling and be in different time zones you must be available by blackberry.
• Travel bookings including flights, hotels and transport for the management team
• Assisting the HR Manager with HR administration for the region
• Supporting the Commercial Manager with coordinating, formatting and proof reading of large tenders and bids
• Managing the Receptionist and delegating work to her.
• Implementing office systems and filing.
Requirements
• Candidates must be happy to work in a small office environment where many of the managers will be traveling. You must also be able to work at a fast pace, be adaptable, pragmatic, mature, calm under pressure and confident.
• You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• UAE experience is a must for this role along with experience of supporting C-level managers and a management team and previous experience of working on tenders and bids.
• Advanced IT skills are a must.
