Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Applies knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards to the queries raised and contracts referred
- Participate in the development of a standard engagement contract for each type of service offered by the firm and subsequently review, and respond to, requested modifications to those letters
- Review contracts that involve higher risk clients or engagements and/or nontraditional fee arrangements
- Advise on issues surrounding non-compliance with laws and regulation by clients
- Review of any other referred third party contracts.
- Identifies risk matters, suggests safeguards and escalates as appropriate
- Applies the provisions of Risk Management Manual and obtains sufficient information to address the risk management queries demonstrating basic knowledge of risk management skills

Requirements

The incumbent must be qualified legal personnel (Bachelors degree in Law, Masters degree in Law), with hands on experience in review of contracts with knowledge in identification of risk arising from contracts and suggesting safeguards, preferably bi-lingual (with ability to review and manage contracts in Arabic and English).

Prior work experience in professional risk management and in a compliance function will be necessary pre-qualification for the above position
