Job description / Role
Our client, a growing government entity, is seeking an Executive Director of Corporate Commutations & Marketing to develop, implement & drive the Corporate Communications and Marketing strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to build a new marketing & communications team.
The successful candidate will a minimum of 8 years marketing & communications experience with a significant percentage working with government organisations in the UAE either client or agency side. You must be bilingual (Arabic & English), have proven experience defining & implementing strategy, inspired & grown a team and have a strong network with media.

Requirements
* Degree qualified or equivalent in either Communications/Marketing/Journalism/Public Relations - ideally up to Masters level
* Minimum 8 years of experience in the PR or marketing field either on the client or agency side in a senior role.
* Experience in a multinational work environment is recommended.
* Have lead a high performance department or a team in the same field.
* Solid bi-lingual skills (Arabic/English), written and spoken.
* Media and marketing exposure (dealing heavily with reporters, have handled a launch of a brand).
* Strong communication and [persuasion skills to influence top management decision making process.
* Good knowledge of how businesses are set up in the UAE, familiar with the terms, products, services and issues.
* Good relations with local, GCC and international media, including digital
