Job description / Role
Our client is a leading now a global company dedicated to the development of knowledge industries and business growth.
They are currently looking for Executive Director to lead and direct the Investment Planning and Analysis function. The position assists the CFO in the Capital Allocation Process for the company.
The role is responsible for assisting in the screening of all investment and major expenditure proposals to provide advice to Management and the and the Investment Committee to make capital allocation decisions. The role will advise the CFO on how to structure each proposal financially and will coordinate the sourcing of all potential funding options. The Executive Director will be responsible for updating management on the status of each capital allocation decision through post-investment review report.
Requirements
The Person:
• Post-graduate qualification in Finance and Professional qualification (ACA, CMA, CPA and/or CFA)
• 10-15 years post qualification experience of which at least 5 years in a management role
• Real Estate experience is must, preferably in an investment company or Real Estate Investment Trust
• Advanced capability in Investment appraisal and financial modeling
• Working knowledge of IFRS and other relevant technical accounting rules
• This is an exciting growth company and an attractive role in a buoyant UAE real estate market
